Racecar Engineering is the official media partner of SimScale’s free online workshop on Advanced Formula Student CFD
SimScale is an online platform that allows you to conduct CFD, FEA and Thermal simulations, supported by a community of over 100,000 engineers, designers and scientists. Now, they have joined forces with Formula Student Germany and Racecar Engineering to bring you a free workshop on the Advanced CFD Concepts used in Formula Student and Formula SAE.
Designing a Formula Student aerodynamic package is no easy task and learning how to utilise CFD effectively can help your team optimise the aerodynamics of your car. This workshop is for teams who are already using CFD in their development process and want to improve their car’s peak performance ready for competition.
The “Advanced Concepts in CFD” workshop will consist of 2 one-hour webinar sessions:
The webinars will be led by an expert in the field of motorsport aerodynamics and will include a Q&A during which participants can ask questions.
Each session comes with an optional homework assignment to get you involved with the workshop. Submitting all homework assignments will qualify you for a Certificate of Completion for the workshop that can be added to a resume or LinkedIn profile.
